Tammy Krug at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services is "THE" great agent. We were looking for a unit in Downtown San Diego as we were thinking about relocating to San Diego for our retirement. We are from the San Francisco Bay Area, not familiar with San Diego at all. We met Tammy in Downtown. She is caring and very knowledgeable and detailed oriented in her business. After several showings, we finally found our dream home in the Meridian Residential Association which has loads of amenities. This is the 2nd time that Tammy has helped me buy a home. If you are reading this - its 10/21 and we are still in a pandemic but the the real estate market doesn't care and is on fire for sellers. As a buyer, I looked at several properties and lost out on a few. I was disheartened and deflated and Tammy kept reminding me that when the timing is right, it will happen. She was very careful that I not overpay in this market which is super easy to do.

My wife and I were finally in the market for a new home. Unfortunately we didn't have much knowledge in this area but luckily, Tammy was referred to us by a family member and today (3 months after contacting her), we are moving into our new condo.  Although I had some reservations because I assumed that Tammy only worked in the high priced areas, Tammy proved to be knowledgeable, efficient, thorough, and made me and my wife feel like we were at times, her only client! Tammy always made herself available to show us properties. she worked with our hectic schedules, and never once delayed to respond to any emails or calls. Tammy stayed on the ball, and this was one of the many things that me and my wife appreciated about her. Negotiations were something that we have never been through and Tammy made sure that we were well informed every step of the way. She showed us everything pertaining to our offers and layed out everything, pros and cons, but made sure that we knew that the decision was OURs only to make. The first property we had an accepted offer in on actually fell through. This was entirely my fault for basically biting off more than I could chew. Tammy took it in stride and only wanted us to be comfortable and the next day we were back looking at more properties. The paperwork process was grueling to say the least, but Tammy made it easier than I could imagine by taking advantage of modern technologies like DocuSign and when we weren't available to come sign something that required wet ink, she even brought the documents to our jobs! That's dedication! We eventually found the home of our dreams this week we will be moving in. Tammy really helped us find a great home in a difficult market! She took the time to print out the listings we were interested in, contacted all listing agents, showed us over 10 homes, and ultimately found our home. She walked us through the entire offer process and also the first home inspection. Because of the home inspection we were able to get a lot of things fixed, even got a new HVAC system installed on the owners dime. She even made herself available to receive some shipments sent to the house (refrigerator, mail, meeting contractors) while we finalized our move.
